How does free usage work?

One free colorization is available per device. After that, new colorizations require an active Chroma Pro subscription.

What is HD mode?

In HD mode, results are upscaled 2x or 4x with Real-ESRGAN based on image size. If the uploaded image is already very high resolution, HD upscaling may be skipped.

Are my photos stored on servers?

Your photo is sent to servers for processing. We do not store raw photo files in our own database. We do keep technical processing logs such as device ID, mode, success state, latency, and error code. For HD jobs, result URLs and job state are also recorded.

How can I restore my purchases?

Go to Settings in the app and tap Restore Purchases. Make sure you are signed in with the same App Store or Google Play account used for the original purchase.

The colorization result was not what I expected. What can I do?

Results can vary based on photo quality and content. We recommend cropping to the main subject and trying again, or using HD mode. If the issue continues, contact us via Settings -> Contact Support in the app.

How do I cancel my Pro subscription?

Subscriptions are managed by App Store or Google Play. You can cancel from the App Store subscriptions page on iOS, or from the Play Store subscriptions page on Android.
